Thank you for the link, Neil.

I still think that we'd be better off today, if Bill Clinton could've stayed president.

hello Dave...I think that who is doing the research to find things to favor what they belief or can favor the other...right or left wings...research on happens...will never end...someone will always try to make the other look bad...that is politics...Larry

Hi Larry, Yes, you put it very well. My point in this little thread was to show that while the one party is at present blaming the other for what is going on, the fact is that it has been going on and building through several administrations. History may eventually tell us if anyone has made the right decisions or not. God bless, Dave

While true Larry, you left out the people who always decide elections. Those in the middle. (People who support some things the right likes and some things the left likes.) In one of his novels, Tom Clancy pointed out that in every election, there are those who vote for their party's candidate no matter who is running. So somewhere around 40% of the voters vote for one and 40% vote for the other. Yet those who decide the election are the remaining 20% of the voters. These people vote for the person they trust the most and that is who gets elected. Anyone who thinks I wanted to vote for some- one as far to the Right as Bush is has a screw loose. ONLY, there was NO way I would ever vote for a double- dealing, flip-flopping back- stabbing, gold-digging, elitist, lying traitor like John Kerry. An as the results of the election proved, many others of the 20 percent agreed with me. Bush did NOT win any mandate from the far right, he won because of who he was running against. Those of us in the middle do research as well. Only we do NOT look for information to prove the Far Right or the Loony Left are right. Rather, we look for the FACTS so we can arrive at the TRUTH! (Something those on the Far Right and those in the Loony Left, seem to seldom, if ever do.) And the TRUTH is: Clinton did NOT lie about Monica L. and Bush did NOT lie about WMD! Clinton did everything he told Chris Wallace (in that not famous interview) he said he did in trying to capture or kill bin laden And during the first eight months of the Bush administration , they refused to take the danger bin laden posed seriously, they downplayed the warning and they demoted Clarke when they should have elevated his position. And those who may disagree with my last two statements only prove they either have NO clue as to the facts or they are unable to comprehend them. (Or both.)
