Once upon a time, in a land far away,
called 'the Land of Listbuilding,' there
lived an aspiring internet marketer...

 

He was very, very industrious and
bright, and hoped one day to have
his very own Internet Kingdom

 

where he could make piles of gold
selling good stuffs like ebooks and audio
sets, and even make his own wonderful
ebooks to sell one day...

 

however, he had one small problem
(actually it was a big, big, problem)...

 

Like many poor lads just starting out,
he didn't yet have a List to sell to...

 

and so there was no way he could
even start to make the kind of gold
he dreamed of every night...

 

It seemed like it should be easy
for him to start a List--every marketing
prince in the land seemed to have one--

 

But...every time our lad sat down at
his computer and decided to do it,
it was like there was a big, green,

 

firebreathing DRAGON staring him
in the face...

 

The dragon had many heads:
some of them were called 'autoresponders'
some of them were called 'opt-in forms'

 

and so on, but each one was even more
daunting than the last...

 

'ARRRGH!!' screamed our hero,
'Won't I ever be able to get past this
giant dragon? Why can't I understand
how to do this? It's all so COMPLICATED!'

 

Just then, a blue fairy appeared out of nowhere...

 

And she said,

'Wh-what?' said our hero.
But the fairy just winked, and said again:

and then she flew away...

Cute!! Very Cute!!! I'm thinking We'll add threads or create new forums about each topic as we go along...branch off the list building forum I started yesterday.... It seems that it is helping alot of folks as is yours. I wonder if you might want to help when I do...we could brainstorm and come up with the next topic or step to be focused on over the next week or so. Wht do you say? (I figure we are quite in sync here this week you and I and it might be a good opportunity for us to share that with our friends. :) Tracey
