You'd better delete mine, too. I just laughed, it was such a perfect example of what you were talking about in Go Figure. Then, of course, you'll have to delete this one, too. lol Cheri

This is definitely a good idea Linda. All too often we sometimes get wrapped up in the various forum threads and simply forget to say a simple "hi" to people.

Dear Linda, what a very nice thought - thank you. I am sure that like many others the forums provide us with that chance to interact on a personal level - without trying to sell each other anything! I like that, as although I wouldn't want to change anything really, I do live in a very isolated situation - both physically and linguistically - so the conversations here are really enjoyable. I don't get involved in many forums, but I must say how different people are here than on the Netscape forums I was once - and briefly involved in. I don't know why it should have happened, but there was an enormous amount of vicious posting there. Granted it was at the start of the Iraq war situation, and as someone who had lived in the region (the Gulf States) - I felt I had a contribution to make. I was wrong! Everything from death threats down. Amazing. So this has been a refreshing change - and to be honest has enabled me to re-appraise what had been a seriously negative impression of America. I think you, and the other US-based Adland posters do a lot more good for your country than you may realise. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Norm
