What a nice thing to do for Jill's memory.
I wrote a poem for Jill after her transition.
We talked at least weekly and had very long and very deep conversations.
Like all of you I miss her very much. WITH THANKS AND LOVE TO JILL
Some people say the internet is impersonal and cold.
That you can’t get close to others like we did in times of old.
So why is it I hurt so bad though we’d never met face to face?
Why’s there a hole within my heart that was Jill’s special place?
So now I know that they are wrong and we can form such bonds
That hurt just like any other one, when that special friend is gone.
Oh I will sure miss Jill so much. I know just who she was.
She was kindness, warmth, happiness and most of all pure love.
It’s been so many years now that we’ve talked at least each week
We’ve planned and dreamed and waited for the goodness that we seek.
She was such an inspiration and a very special friend
Her life a living model of how love flows right ‘til the end.
Even though I know that she is in a special place
And that she’s held within the arms of perfect love and grace
For me I wish she was still here so we could laugh and talk
As we help each other on the way of the path that we all walk
I can’t help feel that she is now, an Angel looking down
That she will love and guide us while we’re still here on the ground.
Thank you Jill for all you gave and will continue still to give
For the model that you showed us all by the way you lived
From the place that you reside in now, you can help us to ascend
I know from there as in your life, you’ll work up to the end.
And we will meet again someday in Spirit and in peace
As we will leave this 3D world and duality release.
We send our love to thank you as you help us find our way
And look forward to the special time we meet again someday.
