I’LL SEE YOU ON THE NEW PLANET EARTH

I’ll see you on the new planet Earth
Right now is my time to go
You don’t understand my way
Aren’t you my beloved?
But time is only time
And it has to come
I’ll see you on the new planet Earth
I’ll see you my beloved

I’ll see you on the new planet Earth
That is not too far from today
Right now I have to go
And you have to stay
Until your time comes
I’ll see you on the new planet Earth
I’ll see you my beloved

I’ll see you on the new planet Earth
That is the way waiting for us
Please, don’t cry
I don’t need tears on my way
I don’t need that rain
Don’t worry I am safe
Never forget I’ll wait for you somewhere
I’ll wait for you between here and there
I’ll see you my beloved
I’ll see you on the new planet Earth

I’ll see you on the new planet Earth
On one sunny day
Decorated with peace, joy, love, and happiness
But we have to wait
Don’t cry, give me a smile
Say goodbye and smile
I would like to travel quietly
Don’t forget - never forget
I’ll see you on the new planet Earth
I’ll see you my beloved
Because the start is there
And here is the end.

Thank you Branka for sharing Ibrahim Honjo's amazing poetry and painting.

I have found
his work most impressive, especially in those fields. Unfortunately, as with Wislawa Szymborska's work, I will have to find the time to absorb more of it.

"Symbols and Dilemmas 2" ("What are you doing in this dark evening") got me in a special mood with its prophetic tone. Most curious indeed in light of what is happening these days.

I wish I could read Serbo-Croatian.

Thanks again,

Miguel

P.S. I love this painting.

Dear Miguel,

Thanks for taking your time to stop by and to smell a bunch of roses from Western Balkan.
Being an artist yourself, you know how it feels to bridge most powerful abstract language and it's possible mirrors and meanings within so called rational reality. Oh man, artists are those little Gods to who I bow with sincerity and respect. With gratitude.

You are one of them. Ibrahim is one of them. Wislawa Szymborska, of course :). And many others.

Love you friend!

YOU WILL OUTLAST ME

You will outlive me
and it's a wonderful feeling
that somebody will live after me
as they did before me

it is an inevitable and unavoidable cycle
as the inevitable and unavoidable fact
that after that we will never meet
at this place
or elsewhere

but it does not matter
because everything revolves around its own death
what is here is important
these moments
how we live and experience them
how we share them
multiply
sum
and subtract
they are cosmic math
and space physics
they are atoms and molecules
of something that happened
that is happening
and that will happen

moments are really everything
that we ought to worry about
life no matter how long it is
is just one big moment
a large molecule
woven of many atoms
if we breathe attunement into it
we will have an attuned life

but it is a skill, right?
we can do it if we know
and knowledge is crippled
in ourselves
knowledge is easily breakable

easily torn down
in ourselves
because we don’t know how to shake its hands of satisfaction
and fulfillment
because we don’t know how to shape it
we release it into the abstract
attempting to tame it
and settle it into the desired shape
but the abstract does not go into patterns
nor in clichés
it goes into different directions
eating our lives like worms
putting us in hell

you will outlive me
but that part will remain
because we do not know how to step out of it
that is why mother nature provided the end
for all that is real and all that is abstract
and this is the end
and the place where we will all be equal
and all eternal
red roses that I gave to you as a present
on a rainy November night
colored with the flood of my boiling blood
can be discerned in the dark as shadows
reminiscent of the past
when they dry out they will seem like curdled blood
from my wounds
then you throw them in the city dump
where my blood will have red leaves
do not be afraid
it is an integral part of eternity.

POEM IN A POEM

If you end up in my poem
You will be my poem
And you will never know
This new secret of possession
You will never have time
To get out of my poem
Because that is your curse
And your kingdom
You will be the queen of poems in a poem
In that way I become your king
And poem my kingdom
In that way we rule with a poem
And in a poem
Where I put you to sleep
And locked in there asleep
You don’t know you are imprisoned in the eternity of a poem
And you will remain a poem in a poem
You will be a sleeping beauty
I will love you with a poem forever
And guard you asleep and locked up
With a hundred locks of my love
And a hundred locks of my poem
Understand
I don’t want to lose you
And for this reason you will remain a poem forever
In a poem
And poem above poems.
