God Bless you Chris, Shirley is still in a great deal of pain, but she is getting great care. Let me tell you a little something about Community Hospital. It is somewhat like our community. When an aid comes in the room to ask Shirley if she would like a snack or a drink, the aid includes anyone else that is in the room. When I go in to visit with Shirley, one of the aids or nurses ask me if I would like a cup of coffee or an ice cream or whatever. If feels nice to know that not only the patients are treated with kindness, but their guests as well. Our Priest (Father Dan) stopped in today and visted with her for about an hour. He just learned from his own doctor that he has something called chronic exhaustion syndrum. He was telling me Wednesday that he sometimes finds it difficult to even stay awake because heis always so weak. I have him in my prayers. Back to Shirley. She was moved to another room this evening. I won't know the room number or phone number until morning, but will be sure to pass it on. I believe she may be in their for about another week. As soon as I know for sure, I will let you know. Hi Dave, Just wanted to drop by & say thanks for putting up this prayer forum for Shirley & Mike. I also put up one, as did some ohters...& I know that the Caron's really appreciate it. Here's an update for everyone. Shirley is home from the hospital but is still feeling very weak. I just got off of the phone with her (& Mike), & she can't do much of anything right now, but just needs to take it slow & easy.
