Jello Salad ! A favorite of mine, I like having the carrots grated into it .... nmmmm

JELLO SALAD

1 package of lime Jello
1 lg carrot silvers
2 stalk celery chopped
4 oz of cream cheese chopped in small pcs
1/2 can of crushed pineapple
1/4 cups of chopped English walnuts

Make Jello and ad all the above ingredients and let firm for several hours
Serve square on a slice of lettuce

Hello Donna & Friends,

In the heat of the Summer months I tend to eat a lot of Fruit Salads. Although the fresh fruit steals the show in this great little Salad, the subtle honey sauce makes it an especially sweet treat. If you don't happen to have these fruits on hand it is just as good using blackberries, mangoes or peaches instead.

Honey Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 medium firm bananas, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 5 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon poppy seeds

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the bananas and berries. In a small bowl, combine the honey, lemon juice and poppy seeds. Pour over fruit and toss to coat.
