Hi Alyssa, I know what you mean Alyssa. I joined geostring quite awhile ago and got NO one to sign up and gave up......I have been offering to pay anyone back $25 if they will join Infinity Downline with me.....(an incredible income opp as well) and have only had a few people, join with me.......I think that most people have just become so sceptical & think that everyone is out to scam them........

The other problem is there are just so many opps, that most people have trouble staying focused on anything long enough to make a go of it........Thanks, Curt

There are many reasons, but just to list a few main reasons.

1. Mind set: Many people rely on old sayings - "If it seems to good to be true it usually is" "There has to be a catch" etc.

2. Fear Factor: Some people are so fearful of having their Information on the net that they refuse to sign for anything. They simply don't realize that the moment they sign up for Internet service their Information is on the web accessible to those with the know how. But, the way I see it - My Name is not Bill Gates - I'm not that Important that anyone would take Interest.

3. Lack of Knowledge: How can they do that? They don't know that programs they already belong to do the same thing and those programs want your life history (facebook, myspace,etc) and they don't pay you. Geostring Only want to know your Name, e-mail, and where can we send your check. They really dont take any personal or sensitive Information.

4. Ignorance: Some people are more concerned with what you are going to get out it, they cant see the big picture "How much can they earn", sad but not to much you can do with them.

Like I said there are many reasons and the list goes on. There is another saying "You can lead a horse to the water but you cant make it drink". So what I'm doing is this - I use an old Marketing tactic - Keep it Short and Simple "K.I.S.S) then get the Info out to the masses and you'll see results.

These are all great comments and ideas. So, the question still remains..... If we all understand that "it takes money to make money" (may or may not be true).... Then, how is it possible to make money with no investment.

We have also been pummelled with the phrase and philosophy: "there is no such thing as a free lunch."

So.... how do we change our old programming?
there are some valuable things to read at www.cashflowpotentials.com on that subject. Plus the owner as researched over 4000 home based businesses and "programs" finding that less than 10% are viable. What does that tell you? 9 out of 10 programs and business ideas pushed at you today are either scams or not viable and not potentially profitable.

Buyer beware. Perhaps "Free" is not free after all. Think about the payout. From the organizers perspective. If there is no money coming into the system, how can he/she pay anything out?

My point!..... Get involved in a business that makes money. With a product or service that people need. That can be sold / marketed offline as well as online. Don't be afraid to "invest" your money and time to get started and trained.
