I had thought this thread had done it's dash, but glad to
have it revived again with your visit.
Industrial Hemp seems to be illegal in most countries as
it has unfortunately been put under the category of narcotic cannabis/marijuana the narcotic drug and as it is now 60
odd years ago that hemp was used for the many products that it is capable of being used and extremely safe, like your
hand creme for one..
I do not foresee it coming back any time soon which is a great shame.
There are the 'tree huggers' whom get on their high horses
about the amount of forestry that gets cut down to make
into sawdust, pulp, timber, cardboard, paper etc etc and trees
give us oxygen which has to be replanted to keep the balance.
It would be so nice to re-introduce this industrial hemp plant
back into its rightful place. I wonder how one could go about
re-educating the population..
