Thanks very much for the well wishes for Rick and myself, and yes, I guess you missed all the fun and excitement we both went through 2 years ago. Rick had even asked me to marry him right here on ALP. What a sweet surprise it was, and boy he sure wrote some beautiful and sweet words to me. I will never forget it and I am sure that those that were around at the time won't either. Rick is a real romantic, and he speaks and writes so eloquently.

Hello Marilyn and Rick,

Happy 2nd Anniversary and many blessings and years to come.

From one couple - James and I,  to another whom met on the internet to later
marry.  I endorse the success of meeting online.

When James and I first started chatting with each other, I did not know what
James looked like until I met him in person when I came out to the States
for a holiday.  He did not have a camera or a scanner to send me one.  When
he finally did send me a photo of him that someone took I could hardly see him
anyway as it was not a good photo and he did not look him in person.  Actually
better..*lol*

James was the same in person as he was online.  He is very open and this is
what really attracted me to him as Kiwi men and Kiwi's in general keep our
feelings and thoughts 'close to our chest'.  James and I can talk about any
subject under the sun which has been very refreshing for me as even with my
best friend I had for 30 years,  the same with my ex husband of 20 years.
There were topics I just did not go there!!...Did not realize this until after I left
NZ and met James.
We will be married 7 years in March.

 I remember a forum awhile back where I posted a congratulations to a wonderful couple who had just gotten married.  Time sure does fly.  I believe that you have had a happy two years and will have many more to come.
