I am a 53 year-old woman. I am married to the love of my life. We have been friends since I was 8 years old. We have 3 grown children; two boys and one girl; we have 7 grandchildren, age range from 3 years old to 18. We are raising our twin-teen-age grandaughters (which are a joy in our lives). We live out in the country; in the middle of 40 acres of woods. Our closest neighbor is about a mile away. We love to go to the lake which is about 5 minutes from home. We love to hunt and take long hikes in the woods. We love to watch all the wildlife that grazes on our land. My husband works about 70 hours a week and has over an hour commute to and from work daily; so he's gone a lot. I was employed as a manager of a convenience store until 3 months ago. I was also gone 70 to 80 hours a week. I love staying at home. I am working from home now, so I can spend more time with the girls as they need some guidance at their age. We just moved up here 3 years ago; we are from a small town 70 miles south of here. We don't have any family up here, so sometimes it gets lonely. But, we have adjusted well.
