My name is, Dale Shostak, and I welcome. Any one, who wants to know, more about me. I am a Vietnam Veteran, who served 3 years in the Army. I took my basic, and also advanced training, at Fort Lenardwood, Missouri. While there, I went through, Field Wireman, 36k20, Communications Schooling. After that I served 1 year, stationed in Vietnam. Iwas there from march of 1967, to march of 1968. I was in the, 1st. of the 11th Artillery. Which was a part of the 9th Division, that was based there. My base camp was called, Bearcat, it was located near Ben Wau. Actually, probably quite a ways, from there though. Cause that's where we landed, when we first got into the country. We then went by army buses, with jeeps, with machine gun escort. To where our camp was, but I'm not sure, after all of this time.
