Marxia Liwag completed a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She practiced this profession for 15 years until she was faced with a difficult situation. She had always wanted to be a stay at home mom and have her own home business. In April 2006, her 89-year-old mother-in-law's health was deteriorating and hiring a full-time caregiver for her was out of their budget. Marxia and her husband decided to take her in with Marxia as her primary caregiver, losing one of the major sources of income as a stay at home mom without a home business. The family was living off of their savings and off of the income from her husband's Real Estate and Mortgage agency. As the savings fund dwindle down and income was not steady, Marxia started a home based business but still keeping her "stay at home mom" status. They made a sale 3 days later for $3000 and their internet home business experience has been fun and profitable since.
