Hi, my name is Rick, and I'm a recovering lawyer.  Having escaped that rat-race, I am happy to call myself a successful work-from-home entrepreneur and a full-time active participant in the lives of my wife and 7 children.  I am also active in my church and have a number of other callings that I consider important. 

To me, the business is a means to an end.  It provides me the independence to focus on those parts of my life that are far more important than money. 

Maybe you've been in a home-based business for a while, but success has eluded you.  Maybe you feel like an orphan--without any real support.

After many months of struggle at each end of that spectrum, I now understand that there can be balance.  I'm living proof!
