I live in Perth Western Australia. I have been married for 28 years and have two wonderful adult children.

My interests include writing and reading. I am a voracious reader and in the evenings after I finish my website duties I would much rather stick my head in a book than watch the endless garbage that is served up on television. I have written many books, some of which are on my website.

I have studied and trained in many martial arts for 35 years and am a senior instructor with the rank of 6th Dan. (Just to explain - there are 10 sub levels before black belt and 10 levels after that.) But, despite all that, I am a dedicated pacifist and negotiator. I see violence for what it is worth - ignorant and stupid. 

Other interests include body-building, collecting exotic palms ( I have a tropical garden full of them), hoplology (collecting weapons - mainly oriental) and family pursuits. 

My "Motivation & Self Esteem for Success" website is dedicated to improving people's lives by offering information on motivation, self esteem and self belief. In a world that is often filled with acts of cruelty, hate and negativity I want my part of cyberspace to be a place where people can go to be nourished with inspiration.
