I am working as a Computer Support person (from 1986).
I am married to an artist/art teacher/graphic designer.
We enjoy walking, swimming, hiking, reading and agree that we can never stop learning.
I have been trying to earn extra income online since the start of 2011, and before I started in the computer world, I spent 16 years in the Accounting profession and in industry (5 in the UK) as an accountant/troubleshooter.
I spent over 2 years travelling and working in western Europe and was fortunate enough to work at many different jobs on farms, in factories, oil refineries and building sites.
I also spent 2 years working in a quarry in the UK, starting as a labourer and ending as assistant manager.
When I arrived in South Africa in 1983, I was told that at 33, I was "too old to learn" and that there was "no future for accountants in the computer field". Both of those people later became customers!
