Once upon a time on a small Indian reservation, far, far away - I had a dream. That one day I would be famous, and That I would make a difference. To make my dream a reality, I studied - first a BA in Urban and Regional Planning (1986) followed with a Master in Business Administration, with a concentration in eBusiness (2005). For the past 25 years I have worked for my Tribe - the Nooksack Indian Tribe as a Planner/Economic Developer. I firmly believe that I have made a big dream become an even bigger reality. I participated in the creation of several Tribal business',including: the Nooksack River Casino, Convenience Store, Medical and Dental Clinics. Along the way I have volunteered as a team coach for traditional sport -- war canoe racing. Teaching tribal youth the value of: teamwork, trust, and strong work ethics. I firmly believe these traits are valuable and will be useful for life. When the youth becomes a man and says "Thank you" it is worth the effort.
