My name is Albert. I am very health conscious. I am 5 feet 9 inches tall; weight 148 lbs with a 32inch waistline!
I am 60 years old but all my friends and students commented I look at least 10 years younger. In fact, I look not only many years younger, my functional age is at least 15 or 20 years younger.
The world is just beautiful. It is full of beautiful places filled with lots of beautiful people. We must learn to stay
healthy and energetic to enjoy life, to see and admire the colorful wonderful world.
So, please allow me to share my little healthy tips with you, the tips I used to share with my tai chi students. Here are the keys to obtain optimum health: 1. Eat healthy.After all, you are what you eat. Take at least 5 – 7 servings of fresh vegetable and fruits per day. Avoid eating too much red meat, go for fish (very rich in Omega 3) and turkey.
Cut down drinking Coke and Pepsi
drink at least 6 glasses of WARM water (no ice). Maintain your waistline in between 21 to 24 inches.
2.Take supplements regularly. The food we take has limitations especially if we are very picky about food. We go for taste even if we choose to eat healthy food. So, take supplements regularly is essential for optimum health.
3. Good Sleep. Sleep at least 6 hours a day. If possible, go to bed by 10.00p.m. After all, "Early to bed, early to rise" makes a man strong, healthy and wise.
If you have sleep problem,look for nutrition that can help you to overcome it.
4. Do exercise regularly. Walking and jogging is the bare minimum. If you can, do exercises such as tai chi,yoga or go for meditation.You owe it to yourself to at least let your Mind be away from Stress and tension for at least half an hour or more a day,one of the best remedies for anti-aging.
5. Do not forget to smile all day.
