High-five on that, Thomas. After replying to a prominent ALP member's email, she reminded my that she was using her upgraded account to send emails to people who showed mutual interests catagories. In my opinion, that does not grant permission or authority to scud and cluster bomb unwanted targeted emails about stuff I'm not intersted in the slightest before establishing some sort of connection first.  Using one's own forum for sending out a bulletin is OK, I suppose. I can always disconnect from that forum if I so choose. Am I right or wrong so far?

People are just too uptight these days and need to cool their jets on both sides of the spamming issue.   

Just from reading these previous posts, I'm sure we've established some common ground but I wouldn't think of ruining it will an ad blurb. Sometimes friends can just leave their shop talk alone for short while and do more important stuff like create and build real connections called, "relationships", (used with care).
