We even got some of the effects from Hurricane Ike here in Wichita.
My girls were out the other night and walked home about two miles
and it hit bigtime. They were out for over an hour in the pouring rain
and had to walk through water about knee deep. There was one fatality here
when a man tried to cross a flooded highway and got pulled into the current.
Yesterday evening my date and I were coming out of the restaurant and there
were THREE rainbows. On our way home we saw two more. Maybe that's a sign
that we're going to have some nice weather for a change.
Prayers are going out daily for the people in the major effected areas.
This might be a new opportunity for them to receive greater blessings.
