Hi All you Busy BEEZ,

A few of us G2 managers got together for a bit of a meeting and this is what was discussed.

1) Right from day one, Dennis has been on the
right track with an "exchange for exchange" bartering system.   What that means is that if we do work for someone, then they agree to give us something in return.  Like an upgraded Pro account for free,  advertising the Hive on their website as a couple of examples.   Whatever we can do to help out them, will help out the Hive. 

2) We are going to start advertising the G2 splash page.  If you haven't go the link, go here:

3) We agreed to put a signature in our ALP id's that shows up whenever we invite someone to be friends.

Hello Everyone.

Here are a few easy instructions for you to post your Adland Pro signature so that it shows wherever and whenever you post in any forums.

First go to Account at the top left side of your Community page under YOUR homepage link. Then click on Personal. Scroll about halfway down and you'll see where to post a new signature.

Whatever you have there, erase it. This is way more important if you want to feed the hive and have the hive feed YOU.

We want to be recognized wherever we go at Adland Pro as Hive Team Members.

Here's our first choice of signatures.

I would like to make a suggestion.

If you wish to change the subject, please post a new thread
and if you reply to a subject, try to keep your responses relevant
to the subject of the thread. This will help the search engines to
find it better. This is how we tag the posts and let people know what
they're about, so try to keep it in order.

I like the idea of a bartering system. This is how I've worked for the last 16 years since I didn't have a credit card and needed a way to get into paid programs and get software that I couldn't afford to buy. I've worked for a lot of admins and done little things to help and in return they've bought hosting from me, they've gotten me into paid programs and I've gotten a lot of free scripts and worked my way into owning my own businesses.

It's taken me some time to get where I'm at now but the rewards have been tremendous considering how much I've been given and the education that I've gotten in web design and script set up for free. That alone would have cost me thousands of dollars if I had learned it in college.

Here's how I broke into doing this.

I paid close attention to the grammar and spelling on web sites and offered to correct it for the admins.

I watched out for script errors and offered to fix them.

I offered them and their members free upgrades in my programs.

Any little thing you can do for them is worth doing. Even if you get nothing
in return, it's experience you can use to better yourself.

I believe in giving with NO EXPECTATIONS. God helps those who help themselves AND OTHERS.
