B of Rev.21:2 Christ refers a woman Law of God
2/27/2008 4:20:58 PM
    Good evening to you all

I'll continue with 12th chapter of the revelation of John.

We are met with a  mystery drama about the Woman and the Red Dragon but the Keys are do not fail to unlock .
The two first verses tells us :

"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her  head a crown of twelve stars:And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered"

The woman is a symbol of the Law of God. Christ refers to a woman as the Law of God in Rev 21:2 "Coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." The woman in this chapter is that Bride, the Law of God, revealed by Muhammad.! She was clothed with the light of the "Sun of Reality" from the prophet in the day and age in which he appeared.
Symbolically the "sun" and the "moon" refer to two Islamic  nations, Persia and Turkey, which use these symbols. The emblem of Persia is the sun, and that of Turkey is the cresent moon, the two most powerful nations of Islam. The Twelve stars of the crown are the twelve Imams who were the Promulgators of the Law of Muhammad and the Educators of the people, thus shining like stars in the heaven of guidance.
"And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads .And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born 12:2-4.
History records that the Law of Muhammad fell into the greatest difficulties and endured great afflictions until a perfect Offspring was produced through Fatimih (Muhammads daughter) and the twelve Imams. That means the promised One of the Law of Muhammad was reared in the bosom of this Law of Muhammad which mothered Him. This "Child" is recognized as His Holiness the Bab, lineal descendant of Muhammad, the Primal Point, Who was born of the Law of Muhammad, was nurtured by that Law, and Who became manifest on earth 1260 years after that Law was promulgated, thus fulfilling the prophecies of Christ and Muhammad.
The second great wonder in heavens was "a great red dragon"which tail drew the third part of the stars in heaven...Abdu'l-Baha explains that these signs allude to the dynasty of the Umayyads who dominated the Muslim religion. The seven heads and seven crowns mean the seven dominions over which the Umayyads had power- (S.A.Q p 79)
These countries, controlled by the fanatical ecclesiastical power of the  Bani-Umayya, were the Roman dominion around Damascus, and the Persian, Arabian and Egyptian dominions, together with the dominion of Africa, that is to say Tunis, Morocco, and Algeria, the dominion of Andalusia which is now Spain, and the dominion of Turkestan and Transoxania -(S:A:Q: pp79-80)
These ten countries comprised Islam, but only seven of them had rulers, the others being provinces, or mandates.
The "ten horns" denote  the names of the ten Umayyad rulers and  all those names are to be found  here in the book of Mrs Moffett. If anyone wants to know them tell me.I will give them to you.
All but the first of these rulers were Caliphs.
Marwan II  was the last one of the Umayyad Caliphs. He died in 750.
These symbolize the tail of the ecclesiastical system which destroyed the third part of the saintly and holy people of the lineage of Muhammad and who were like" the stars of heaven".
"And she bought forth a child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron, and the Child was caught up to God and to His throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared of God, that they should feed her a thousand two hundred and three score days" 12:5-6
Again we see the 1260 years
Is there any doubt about this being the length of the dispensation of Muhammad.?
The child was the Promised Manifestation, the Offspring and for Whom the Bani-Umayya were always looking that they might destroy Him, fearing the loss of their power, as Herod feared the loss of his power at the time of Christ, when he had all newborn male killed!

This  man Child, this  Son that was born of  the Law (the woman) of God , born on October 20, 1819 in Shiraz, Persia, was the Bab Who would rule, not with a sword but with a "rod of iron", which is the symbol of His power and might. It means that, with the power of the Word of God, He would spiritually protect all the nations of the earth and take them to Bahaullah, Who would lead them like a shepherd into the new Cycle of Unity and Peace.
Shoghi Effendi (The Bab) appeared in the midst of the "most decadent race in the civilized world, grossly ignorant, savage, cruel, steeped in prejudice, servile in their submission to an almost deified hierachy, recalling in their abjectness the Israelites of Egypt in the days of Moses, in their fanaticism the Jews in the Days of Jesus, and in their perversity the idolators of Arabia in the days of Muhammad"(G:P:B: p4)The Bab was noted for His great personal beauty and charm, love of mankind, nobility of character and great spiritual wisdom and power.
In the darkest of darknesses the light shines most resplendently. Therefore the Bab did not appear in the West.
We find the 1260 in Daniels book as " a time, times, and half a time" which is three and a half years, or forty two months = 1260 years. In Hezekiel we learn that a day is a year in the sight of the Lord, and this is the key to the prophecies.
The woman fled to the wilderness, meaning the vast desert of Hijaz, and the Arabian peninsula, which became the abode and dwellingplace of the Law of God for 1260 years.
"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon" 12:7-.0...in the end the dragon was defeated

The great emphasis  here is that at last there is the  glad announcement that the time of salvation and the dawn of a New Day have come
.
In 12:11-17 we see how the woman, the Law of God was protected . She was nourished in her place in the wilderness of Arabia for a time, and times and half a time. In those days, a "time" was recognized as the number of degrees in a circle, that is, three hundred and twenty degrees. "Half a time" would be one hundred and eighty degrees. adding all together, the whole period would be twelve hundred and sixty years, again the length of the Muhammedan Dispensation. This was from 622 A.D. to 1844 A.D.when translated to solar years. The Bible, with unfailing persistence from beginning to end, has again given that date, as the initiation of the great new Bahai Cycle, signalized by the Declaration of the Bab and His momentous pronouncement, heralding One greater than Himself.

Isn't this marvellous
Bye for now and good night, dear readers
