Hi Sara,
Sorry to be so Tardy getting back to you, however, between your mention of Flower Children and then Nick's Psychedelic Bus "Heading Up The Country" to Woodstock, I started having a Flashback and kinda got lost for a couple of hours. Listening to Janis, Gracie, Jimi and Joe always affects me that way, especially Janis when she starts to Wail.
Nick, believe it or not, I remember most of it. In fact, I remember that better than what happened last week. Those were "Good Times". Of course, a lot of my Friends went North, so to speak, into your area of of our wonderful World. I've still got a Buddy who went to High School with me, and he still lives up in Vancouver, B.C., and I get a Christmas Card from him every year, without a return address of course.

Sara, in answer to your Question, no, this isn't being Redneck, or even being Hippies. Where better than out in Nature, where God's Creatures and Creations are the Witnesses. Doesn't Mark 10:9 say " What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."? God will just as surely Bless this Union amongst the Beauty of His Creation, as He will wherever the Ceremony may be held. Just remember, like the Song says, "Just be sure and wear some Flowers in your hair".
Sometimes I may give people the wrong impression. I deeply believe that a Union, Blessed by God. and with the Guidance of the Holy Spirit, between two people who truly Love one another, is one of the most Beautiful Relationships on the Earth. I know that it can exist. My Dad and Mother dated for three years before getting married. Had my Mother lived until the 26th of February, back in 1989, they would have Celebrated 50 years of Marriage. She crossed over on February 8th, 1989 and my Dad followed her into Heaven on January 4th, 1994. Now they are together for Eternity. So you see, it Can Last Forever.
Congratulations and Blessings to your Son and His Girlfriend, and may their Marriage be filled to overflowing with Love, Joy and Laughter and an Abiding Commitment to One Another.
Bless You My Friend,
Phil
