Hello St. Nick and Friends

    Nick, you have such a way of tugging at the heart strings that your own heart must be the size of texas.

    You know, the finality of this story tends to make one think it is over now. As if something had ended. Well, that is certainly not the case.

  We are nearing 4000 U.S. casualties now in the MIddle East. This is just military casualties. There are many U.S. civilian deaths as well. Iraqi dead now , by some estimates is over a million men, women and children and millions left homeless.

    Here in the states we have over 500,000 homeless veterans living on the streets of America.

     For many of the dead soldiers there are children left without a mother, father or both. The homeless have left many other family members behind as well and missing their love.

     So my friend, there is no end to the number of people in this world who need a hand reaching out to them in the darkness. No end to the number of people who need even just one of us to just stay.
