I have always been uncomfortable with that practice when specifics are asked for.
I know from my own experiences and observances that people grow and learn compassion when they go through hardship.
Often, it is the only place you can find your real connection with God.
It would be a shame to miss that.

Right. :) Thanks for the comments, and always remember to Do not be anxious about anything, But in everything, by prayer and patition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7.  P.s. once you pray for a person outloud you have sent that prayer to God Directly, he knows what your going to say but he needs to hear it so it will be blessed at His will.

another catching Sermon on Add Land Professionals . Your have an amazing secret in dealing with these holy words. I know you care about everyone and we also do. Fear is a Miraculous WORD, because it brings all closer to God . 

I tell you two short stories where fear , brought Love and therefore God , closer to us . I was traveling in a DC 10 plane 35 years ago, when the plane entered into a storm. Before then ,there was a very pretty lady sitting by my side in the plane ,who never bothered to reply to my greetings when I sat down.

Suddenly there was this great storm that changed everything. There was no one beside her but me, as the plane made so many dangerous curves and dives to avoid the storm. While I prayed to ask Jesus to keep his promise that ' I am with you always', this young lady jumped and held me so tight , then whispered into my ear. ' we will die together' .  I was confused . However my presence gave her the comfort she needed and Jesus gave me the comfort I needed. She benefited thereof.

Secondly, to reaffirm Jesus statement that he is always present is when there is an accident. It has been proved that the instance where Fear appears, everyone goes, 'My God or  Oh Jesus '. Even those who do not go to church or who are not practicing any particular religious beliefs tend to scream the same words. This is Jesus Christ  in action. His presence and his blessing.

From the first century church where i try to live my life by Jesus teachings, God has been in our very being since birth, its in our DnA as the Doctors would say wouldnt you agree Doc? lol. And so for some we do tend to blert out His name, and there are some who take it to extreme and use it in there anger then its taking the Lords name in Vain this i do not like but i understand that they dont understand and are forgiven anyway when i hear it. Brother Pierre i thank you for your comments and that scary story of that plane ride, turbulance also comes in when we dont see what we are doing , by being the example of what God wants from us we somehow avoid the small issues and look at the big picture, thinking outside the box when we always seem to look out for ourselves, these things are wordly ways and we must change it, each day, little by little, baby steps my brother. And so then the small issues become easier to fix hence avoiding bigger problems that escelate. :)
