Hi Amanda

This what you wrote down stays and cannot change.Even snakes move away if they do not need to protect or feel they are attacked. To my knowledge only cats and humans kill out of need to feed.

Another fact for those who know how get to level of communication to the one across you.

Many made doctorates on these themes and I have no intention of making one here.It would take too much of my free time.

See you soon here,

Thank you Stephen for a great choice!

CONGRATULATIONS AMANDA!

I love the picture of you and your horse.  We have always had horses up til the last 5 years, and I sorely miss them.   I am thinking that soon the grandkids will be a great excuse  :-)

It is so good to see you.  I have missed crossing paths lately.

Enjoy your special honor.

Hugs, Jill

Hi Amanda, thanks for being a real trooper. This angle brought up by Zvonimir was not intended to add anything or take away from this Profile of the Day honor. The dialogue is interesting to follow and I agree it is a whole nother topic for another day, place and time perhaps. I agree with you regarding approaching a dog or other animal. I don't run up screaming at a strange dog or cat, or even one that seems friendly. Just this weekend I was visiting my sister and a dog I have seen a few times. I eased up, let Chip smell the back of my hand, and slowly began to pet the dog to make sure he was comfortable first.

Similarly, I don't run up to a person I don't know that well or at all and start screaming. If you were a policeman I would get shot. Rather you approach someone in a way that will not make them feel threatened. Good topic. Glad you are enjoying your honor. You have the whole weekend, not just a day! Thanks all for your contributions.

Hello Jill,

Thank you for coming and lovely to catch up with you.

Yes, you will very possibly get talked into having a
pony for the grandchildren especially that you have
the pasture to house them and ride.  Then very
possibly you will get a horse for yourself to ride with
them because you can't keep up with them on foot
and you cannot leave them to ride alone.. *grin*

This is how I got started back up riding the second
time when my children and their cousins wanted a
pony of their own, so I had to get a horse, luckily my
sister had a gentle horse she gave me (she has owned
and trained race horses for years).

Hi Stephen,

Thanks.  I am enjoying myself and it is so nice to
catch up with several old friends here that I have
not seen about for awhile.
Many of us are off in different directions now that
more and more communities to network in and we
have to spread ourselves about more.

I am not sure if Horses and pets were suppose to be
the topic of the day, yet I have enjoyed reminiscing
about old times with past pets and our new pet family.
They each old a special place in my heart and even
though some of them have died they are not forgotten.

Amanda
