In the photo contest, the prize of $50 was stopped along time ago. I think John and Pauline were still in charge then. Eve though their isn't a monetary prize, I continued to enter because I like to take pictures.

John and Pauline and the last 3 people did a good job.  I wish there had been more publicity though.

Kathleen's new idea of having Adlanders publicize the POTW in their forums is a good one.  There are many people who publicize the award now.

It isn't Kathleen's fault or OUR fault (who publicize the POTW)  if people don't get involved and nominate SEVEN people. It is everyone's responsibility to do it.... if they wish.  It is silly and wrong to blame her.

Why don't more people get involved?  I don't know and I don't care.  I will continue to nominate people because I think the award benefits Adland and all of us in this community.

My opinion and hope is that there won't be more fighting here.  Just discussion.

Pat

Hi Everyone,

I have spoken to Bogdan.

I hope that we can start again as good friends?

I think that we can rebuild this forum but financial reward is unlikely.

I have, in principle anyway, offered to organise the Contest to ensure it's continuation.

If I do this there will be a little lead-in time. I will seek views and advice before announcing the new format.

My first question is a very simple one:

Does anybody object to me overseeing this contest?

Roger, my friend, you have my vote!  I do understand (and Jim should be able to tell you), it is very time-consuming.  We know you will run it fair and square.  I wish you all the best with it and you can count on my support.

This is the first time I have posted here since last June.

Have FUN with it!

Sara

Hi Roger, why not, it will be good to You as professional psychologist.

Good luck!

Greetings, Lydia
