Jordin Sparks sang a fantastic National Anthem, she looked very nervous before she started and glad to be finished when she got done! I didn't know her father used to be a professional football player, she never mentioned that on American Idol.
Tom Petty was also superb and he looked tired when he got finished, he's 57! I knew he had to be getting up there, he was in his late 20's when he first became famous in the late 1970's way back when I was still in junior high school!
