Hello All, I've decided to make this next lesson about watching what you do.
All this time I have been using the communities to communicate with others.
I have been sharing my tips and tricks about my copywriting, as well as sharing what I have found from others on the communities.
Well, all of a sudden, I received three or four emails from another community telling me that I have been banned from their site. Now if this was adlandpro, I would be a bit more concerned, however, without mentioning any names...
On This site when I first joined, I received several messages from men telling me how beautiful I am and how they want to meet me and some even went further to insinuate that I do Rude and Crude things to their body as well as them doing things to mine. This is a community that allows both this type of behavior as well as more sexual vidoe content than I've seen on the entire internet anywhere.
So Now, what did they ban me for? Simple. I posted a few notices on the journal inviting people to check out a business that I was sharing recently.
Now this is also a community that twice I had received emails from--that someone on the community send on my behalf--inviting people I know to join this community. Now If I wanted to invite my outside friends to this community, wouldn't and shouldn't that have been up to me to invite them? I thought so. The first time I let it go. The seccond time it happened, I contacted them about it. Asking them to find out who is doing it, and to please not send out invitation to people I know join their community "on my behalf'. This happened about three to four weeks ago.
The people they invited "for me" were my Writing Mentors, who are not only very busy, but very wealthy and have no reason to want to join a community such as that one. And after the second time they sent it, I received messages from them that my access code was changed because of those invitations. Now how they even got their email addresses, is beyond me. They must have surfed my computer or email or something to find out who else I was communcating with and receiving emails from. Anyway...
The thing that gets me about all this is that they didn't even give me a warning about the advertising. They just sent three or four emails in the same day, telling me they had removed my journal postings and a final one saying I was totally banned from their community.
One of the journals they banned was a simple message saying happy new year with a musical card. I posted that same message here. I don't believe it advertised anything.
Anyway... The point is, I learned my lesson!
I am not communcating with them anymore! As it stands, I will not be advertising or sharing anything about anybody's anything anymore. I'm totally fed up!
Thanks for listening! Hope this lesson has helped someone else.
