This is a message I sent to Ambassador John and a copy to Pauline and Bogdan yesterday before John took the final decision.

Today I got many disappointed
voices in my PM and I am not going to do anything except following which I will
send to Bogdan and Pauline.
You suggested me if I see
anything wrong to take contact first.
I am following your recommendation.
About me, there are two things to
do.
1 You re-block me so I can vote
in the contest
2. You mention that I do not fulfill
conditions to qualify and remove me from the list by placing Judy Smith. She is
not leading any team below.
It is your forum and you decide what to do. What
ever you do don't have me in the contest if I can not vote. It is not
for my vote. It is a sense of order for me. A vote more or less do not
make me or anybody a winner.
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE POTY
2007 a success then listen carefully.
Very active people and awarded forum owners in this community are not
qualified the way you set up the contest. Most of the most active members did not even come in to
nominate.
Here are two of the messages I got from very active AdLandPro members.
Hi Georgios,
Not very many people actually went to nominate at this year's POTY
nominations, I guess they lost interest in the elections since most
people know they are not cheat-proof anyway.
It would be fun
to campaign for someone who has no chance of winning, if me and you
promote someone very heavily, we could get a big winner of a little
person. What do you think? That's what Americans do on contest TV
shows, the crazy radio station disc-jockeys make a big campaign for the
underdog just to make everyone upset!
I have no intention of winning POTY but I thought some of my forum friends would have at least seconded my nomination.
Most of the members did not even understand that they could not second or thrice.

Set up 10 POLLs as you did last year. Something like last year.
Include all POTWs from the list in the front page in same order by
having the above qualified as "team" leaders spread out in teams on 12
or 13 members.
Only one rule. Mention that you by mistake did not mention that the
members who get most nominations will be “team” leaders in the POLL.
The winner from each poll goes to
final. Nobody will complain because they are all in there and the best
qualified above are not in same team.
This is just my suggestion. If
you really want to make a difference then my suggestion gives you an alternative
to not be blamed for a bad contest.
You are also included because such an honor goes to the best. If you are
the best in “their” eyes then there is no problem.
