Some the scenarios could be warranted as out of control. But it's the parents who lost sight of themselves long before especially if there are alot of things kept behind close doors which went alot back in the 50's. Becuase some do not deserve to be parents. Some incidents that were overlooked still had their repercussions as well. Especially the with giving teachers the right to discipline, I do not condone. Then they have always been kids who fell through the cracks and end up disasterous anyway. The same applies to gifted individuals who end all screwed up as well. With the abortion issue, every person should have the right at least the knowledge anyway instead being put in a situation that they can't handle.
All in all the world was confused then and now.
