Hello Georgios,
I have never heard this story. The story is wonderful but, the picture is the finishing touch. I Just can not stop looking at that picture. It brings the whole story to life. It is a beautiful job.

Thank you for the support and your commetns. Yes the painting is very nice. I had to ask very kindly and with a very nice song to get permission for having the paintings here.

I am sure you ahve heared about HELEN OF TROY! well, Leda in th legend is her mother.

I do remember a bit about Helen of Troy. That was a very long time ago.

I was raised with a very strict background & we were not allowed to hear or speak of any stories that spoke of Gods & Goddesses. That would have sent us straight to hell, after my mother & grandmother got done with you. Greek Mythology, astrology, fairy tails.. were all of the Devil.

As an adult, I guess it just never really crossed my mind to look into the legends. So, now I am playing catch up.
