This is so true, Kathy. When we live our lives on the premises of "que sera sera" ('what will be will be'), what we more or less do is leave things to fate. Fate is, more often than not, a very cruel master. A life lived by design is one of carefully planned destiny, which is ultimately one of great fulfilment.
