   Wow. What can I say. You have been doing a great job with this Sunday Showcase feature and I really appreciate being featured this week. It will be nice to be able to show another side of my personality. One different from the political pundit pounder that I am mostly known for.

   It is actually quite ironic that you would choose Texas as the state to associate me with the most. It is such a politically incorrect place to live that it will be difficult for me not to mention politics any time I refer to Texas. Even in this wonderful Sunday Showcase Forum. Some of my very best sarchasm has been directed towards Texas Politicians but, I will refrain from politics in this forum. Well,,,,,,,Maybe just a little here and there but, I will try to be nice. LOL

   Given the number of successful politicians who have come from Texas over the years, I just want to briefly point out a few little tidbits, without using any specific names, about G.W. Bush's home state. Woops. Did I mention a name. Sorry. I'll try harder as we move on. LOL

49th in per capita tax revenue raised;

50th in per capita state spending;

47th in average SAT scores;

50th in percentage of population over 25 with high school diploma;

1st in percentage of uninsured children;

1st in percentage of population without health insurance;

49th in percentage of women who vote;

1st in air pollution emissions;

1st in toxic chemicals released into water;

1st in cancer-causing carcinogens released into air;

44th in home ownership rate;

50th in electric bill affordability;

1st in number of executions;

1st in number of gun shows.

   Thank you for stopping by my Show Case and for the kind words. You are one of those who know my non political side. The advocate part of me. Probably because you too have a heart for the less fortunate people in our world. I love the work you have done regarding abusive relationships and about the children from broken homes.
