Hello Branka

I just popped in here for a minute to see if there was anything new. To my delight, a post from my dear Friend Branka and yet another from my Old Buddy Thomas. I couldn't ask for more. I thank you both very much for the kindness that you have shown and for your friendship. You both mean a lot to me and I will never forget you.

Now, like Branka has mentioned, I will move on to making a public service announcement here. I want to reach as many people as possible with this message because the lives and health of so many people are affected by Toxoc Mold. I truly hope that this information helps someone find answers to some of their health problems that have ths far never been properly addressed.

I have not been online much lately due to us trying to get moved, yet again, into another house.

As some of you already know, we moved into a house nearly 2 years ago that had a lot of mold in it from a leaky roof. Well, recently, we found out that this house also has a mold problem. This mold has made Ally and I very sick. So far , the children seem to be OK bet we still have to find a DR that can test them for the mold exposure too.

For the sake of trying to help others avaid the problems we have been facijng due to this mold, I would like to just mention  a few things here.

It is very difficult to find a DR. who is knowledgable about the health effects of mold. Ally and I have been told that our symptoms are related to just about anything but mold and we have been treated for many different types of illnesses with no improvements in our health.

If you have any unexplained symptoms or are being treated, unsuccessfully for any type of an illness, you may want to start looking for a source of mold somewhere in your enviroment..

Here is a list of some of the things that my illness has been associated with by the many Dr's that I have seen so far.

Fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndrome, chronic fatigue symdrome, unexplained hearing loss and loss of balance, IBS, early stage leukemia, bone marrow cancer, rare blood infection. Ally has some hearing loss and balance loss as well. In addition to to that she is also losing much of her hair, we both have resperatory problems and use an inhaler. In addition to these, most people also have cold, flu and/or allergy type symptoms.

The following is a list of the most common symptoms of fungal exposure (bear in mind, people never fit all of below criteria). Most people with some forms of Mycotoxicosis meet at least 8 (recent symptoms) of the following criteria:

  • Fibromyalgia/mps (and several correlated symptoms)
  • Respiratory distress, coughing, sneezing, sinusitis
  • Difficulty swallowing, choking, spitting up (vomiting) mucous
  • Hypersensitivity pneumonitis
  • Burning in the throat and lungs (similar to acid reflux and often misdiagnosed as such)
  • Asthmatic signs; wheezing, shortness in breath, coughing, burning in lungs, etc.
  • Irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, diarrhea, sharp abdominal pains, stomach lesions
  • Bladder, liver, spleen, or kidney pain
  • Dark or painful urine
  • Dirt-like taste in mouth, coated tongue
  • Food allergies/leaky gut syndrome/altered immunity
  • Memory loss; brain fog, slurred speech, occasionally leading to dementia
  • Vision problems
  • Swollen lymph nodes
  • Large boils on neck (often a sign of anaphylaxis)
  • Yellowing of nails, ridges, or white marks under nail
  • Thyroid irregularities, sometimes leading to complete dysfunction; adrenal problems
  • Headaches
  • Anxiety/depression, heart palpitations - confusion, PTSD
  • Extreme blood pressure, cholesterol, or triglycerides irregularities
  • Ringing in ears, balance problems (very common), dizziness, loss of hearing (aspergillus niger)
  • Chronic fatigue (also included under this classification directional confusion)
  • Intermittent face flushing; almost always systemic, Called the Mylar Flush (neurological))
  • Night head sweats, and drooling while sleeping, profuse sweating
  • Multiple chemical sensitivity; only upon exposure to Stachybotrys and Chaetomium
  • Nose bleeds (stachybotrys)
  • Bruising/scarring easily; rash or hives, bloody lesions all over the skin (Often systemic, see images; skin)
  • Reproductive system complications; infertility, changes in menstrual cycles, miscarriage
  • Sudden weight changes (Detoxifier genotypes tend to gain weight, non-detoxifier genotypes tend to lose weight)
  • Cancer
  • Hair loss, very brittle nails, temporary loss of fingerprints (in rare cases)
  • Joint/muscle stiffness and pain
  • Irregular heart beat/heart attack
  • Seizures, inadvertent body jerking, twitching, inadvertent facial movements or numbness in face
  • Hypersensitivity when re-exposed to molds, which can lead to anaphylaxis
  • Anaphylaxis upon re-exposure to mycotoxin producing molds
  • Death, in extreme cases

Note: despite inaccurate and misleading reports by theorists regarding immuno-compromised, babies, and the elderly being more susceptible, this is a big misconception as exposure to the T-2 mycotoxins found in many types of current indoor molds will poison anyone in time; no one is immuneThe reason for this conflicting information is that studies have never been conducted to prove this.  If so called experts are going to make such a broad and misleading statement, they may as well say that this same category of people is more susceptible to SARS, West Nile Virus, AIDS, and cancer. The T-2 mycotoxins found in many of these molds are the exact same T-2 mycotoxins that have killed widespread groups of innocent people with Yellow Rain, a biological warfare agent.

Different mold species can have varying health effects, but it is important to remember that any excessive mold growth needs to be taken care of, regardless of the species. Any excessive mold growth can lead to increased allergies, toxicity, and house/building structural problems.

Elizabeth Westberry, we send you our love, our prayers and our healing light.

Hello Thomas

Well, there was a really nice Christmas party for the kids last week at our Eagles Club. Santa was there and al the kids sat on his lap and got their pictures taken. It was really nice.

As far as Christmas Day goes, Ally and I were very busy trying to get moved into our new place. In fact, we still have a lot to do. Neither of us is able to do much as far as lifting and carrying stuff goes. I am always so dizzy I can't walk a straight line so we'ed probably look pretty silly trying to carry a couch or something. It's kinds funny in a way. I have been sober for nearly 5 years now and I didn't stagger this much when I drank. We have to laugh about it sometimes.

But anyhow, I hope your Christmas was Merry and I hope you have a wonderful New Year. I Thank You dearly for all of the hard work you have put into my Showcase. I have gotten some really important messages out to a lot of people who really care about others in this forum.

So My Friend, I will be on and off line a bit over the next few days while we finish getting moved. I will be sure to stay in touch with you Thomas. Thanks Again Cowboy. Take care now.

SIncerely, Billdaddy

May a smile follow you to sleep each night and,,,,,be there waiting,,,,,when you awaken http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/8212/ShowForum.aspx Sincerely, Billdaddy
