From the start, let me set the record straight. At the last minute I renamed this thread "forgetful" because I was just about to post it as "Turnout Thursday Profile of the Day." Oops, am I human or what?
Good day, I am predicting that today will be a record high in Augusta, GA, USA. Okay, I'm not a weather guy, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. No, I am hoping that we have a record turnout for the POTW voting. Why? It is so great to feel the excitement in the air as we cheer each other on.
Today I would like to feature someone who is a Person of the Week nominee here, so go out and vote please for one of them if you haven't already. I have to admit, most weeks it is a very tough choice as all of the candidates are good, lots of my friends are in the running, and many of the races come down to the wire. They have free cookies & milk when you come out of the booth (my treat haha).
She loves to motivate others, is a "hugger" like Joe featured the other day, a promoter of healthier living here, has a very positive attitude, inspires others, doesn't look or feel a day over 20, yet she has children that old and has been married that long (go figure, could it have something to do with all of those characteristics above that help someone to "live longer" and "age slower")?
Congrats to Heidi "Smiling" Stern, visit her profile and forum.
