If you think your reactions are hard to swallow wait till I get upset and see the sparks flying in all directions.

But, that said I've learned that it's best to contain the sparks and try to reason with others as you've so eloquently done. 

Changes are happening around us without us having to do a thing. There are changes that we can influence through positive debate. Listening to the views of others is a start in the right direction always but unfortunately there are very few that are willing to listen. All they want is for others to hear them out but as far as they are concerned it's a one way street. And then the sparks start to fly.  :)
