Re: PROCRASTINATION - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Hi Amalia, I went through a phase where the "urgents" kept getting in the way, too. Like, the son saying he has soccer practice(unplanned) and has to go now. I thought then "how long has he known about it". When he said yesterday, I said "Well, I guess you are going to be late. The sooner you start walking the quicker you'll get there." That stopped one of the "urgents". He now gives his schedule on the family calendar and tells us if tommorrows plans have changed. Try to identify what the "urgents" are and see how to prevent them. Please don't call it a disease. The pharmaceutical companies will want to find a drug for it. We have enough pills in society. :-) Kenneth

Hi Dawn, I'm with you girl. My youngest brother had the same thing in February. One week after the surgery, his wife gave birth.(East Coast) My best friend got married two days after my bros surgery (Denver, had to be there). Stayed and helped my bro and sis-in-law for two weeks after the birth. Came home. (El Paso, TX) But, you just have to make a plan and stick to it. Hope your father recovers quickly. My bro has! Write anytime. :-) Kenneth
