HI Kathy up and until 11/29, I used paypal since 2003 with never a problem. Seeings how you know the various sites I had been working to promote, many of which said they'd paypal to paypal or check, etc.. but only a few that paid to paypal were ones that I thought I'd call them about.. especially this one particular one.. so you can imagine how surprised I was to read about them limiting my account, especially after I called about said site.
Anyway, yes you are one of the lucky ones, not affected. Continue to be careful. As for me? Well, I am thinking I could just open up a different bank account/checking account, use a new email address and possibly just my middle and last name to get paypal service again.. it's the only thing I can think of.. I am no longer involved in those quick money sites, because all of them are bogus. However, even when I told paypal I was just sticking with the melaleuca and the m2c global, they did not care.
I can appreciate that they want to keep things safe; however, with respect to compliance of their terms and agreements, which is a bunch of mumbo jumbo legal gumbo, I felt it necessary to call them as I had heard they are closing accounts due to promotions of sites they didnt approved.
anyway, the main issue is the ebay thing - I cannot do ebay anymore just because of what paypal has done. I could, but that means putting two little ones in the car to go and get money orders, etc. no thanks!
