Hi Jim, My invites are for: I learn from you You learn from me----I like to help heck yes, share my business. I would like to ask the same thing of posting. Are people posting to be seen----guessing 90% of Adlanders. Are you posting to enhance my forum--I learn from you You ask questions, disucss (agree or disagree)---everyone learns. It all starts with the invitation. An invitation that is composted of ads does not get an answer from me. A genuine answer means I look forward to being on your friends list and I include some information to help the new person in my reply. Now we have a two way conversation going. Thanks for bringing up the topic.

Sorry Jim, I posted too quickly. My invitation as I stated, has an ad but it is indirect. The ad is in the signature line, hidden under the phrase "Im game are you". The second ad requires that the invitee or the person I am accepting into my friends list, go to my profile and click on ads, web page, blog or url on the profile. If they see an ad from me, it is there choice. I do not throw the ad in their face. How rude would that be, friend.

Hello Judy and Mary,

I am tickled to death that this has created a discussion and new friendships.

No apologies are needed as I did not clarify the initial post as a recent reply to some new friends that sent invitations cloaked as an ad.  Something that I have been guilty of as well.

Thanks to some very nice folks they replied to my invite with a something along the same lines as the initial post in this thread, when I was not following my own offline procedures online.  It is all relative isn't it?

With that said... Janet, Judy has sent you an invitation to become friends and I am sure Mary has probably done the same or soon will.  These two ladies among others are the cream of the crop for this community, in their own right.

Judy's brightens my day any time there is a subject or post that catches her interest.  She also supports anyone on her friends list as well as having one of those winning smiles that just makes you feel good whenever she graces our forums.

Mary is a very intuitive lady and an awesome teacher.  She teaches by raising questions that cause you to think, investigate and compares notes.  Plus she has provided folks some great guildelines in her forum as well.  I bet you two could compare some notes.  The combination of which could be very volatile in a very positive way.

Thanks Lee,

I have in the past just declined the invite, but realized that is not mentoring or assisting the offender at all.  Most often I receive an apology with a thank you for seeing through their mistake and helping them to develop the relationship first.

Thanks for being you.

Jim
