I remember I cried when my son had to get glasses when he was 4 years old, I just wanted him to be like all the other little kids at preschool but he looked like Junior Chicken from the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons. The glasses didn't bother him that much, he looked like a tiny John Denver.
Then recently I've been praying for a family friend to get a good job after several months of unemployment and he finally got his dream job that he's been applying for after 5 years of waiting for an opening...he's the town's newest garbage man, sanitation worker! That's what he wanted for a long time! The pay is great but he's almost 46 and real short and has knee problems so now we're praying that the job won't be the death of him or his knees from jumping on and off the back of the truck all day! If you ever see a little middle aged garbage man just over 5 feet tall, give him a big wave!
