Thank you for the wonderful description. It's curious ... everything you seem to eat on thanksgiving is what most British people have on Christmas day, with the addition of course of Christmas pudding and mince pies.
In the rest of Europe we don't seem to follow the turkey tradition at Christmas except in the hotels and that's only because they are catering for tourists.
Here in Portugal and when I was in Cyprus, it's actually curious that Christmas Eve is more important than Christmas day. People have huge buffets and big dinners and stay up practically all night.
So what do you eat at Christmas? Is there anything typically traditional?
I hope you enjoyed the walks and didn't need to much help. LOL ... or better still I hopr you managed to watch the NFL.
