You have said a mouthful. Thanks for allowing God to use you to reach out to us here at ALP.

Here is one from my daily prayer calendar:

"Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." John 4:35

Whatever you are doing in life, at the moment, down the road, this holds true and speaks volumes to me. Whether you are harvesting souls, building friendships, growing relationships, recruiting people, or whatever, this applies!

Hi Thomas,

Our small trials are only important when we think that's all there is.  Then when something big happens, such as a serious illness or injury to ourself or a family member, then everything else falls into less importance.  The things that were driving our life suddenly become very trivial. 

Today, I knew the messaging would eventually be fixed, and I know the wind will dissipate here in Michigan we've been under a wind advisory for nearly 48 hours from a sustained 30-40 mile wind.  I'm out of coffee, I could go out and look bedraggled when I get up the street to the store, but I'll wait, that's not of ultimate importance.  Most things are very temporary.
