Alexander's Oath is a reply to those who say that he was just a blood-dripping commander! As Alexander didn't separate his people to white and dark, Greeks and barbarians, some who did, decided to eliminate him and murdered him. Imagine how different the History would be if Alexander died in old age.

I haven't read this oath before. I didn't realise that he had this attitude.  He doesn't come across like that in the history books that I've read.

What a shame that they got rid of him.

As Dimitra says, think how different it may have been in a positive way if he had died in old age.
