What is the most important thing in marketing? Since you market a business and advertise a sale, the most important thing is to define what is your business. Over the years I have heard so often people who say they are business, I ask what is it, and they answer they promote Program X. That is like saying you are in the auto repair business and you only change oil. I love the topic and look forward to a very interesting and positive and challenging experience. Great work Kenneth and congratulations are in order!

Hi Kenneth, To me this is an EASY one. The most important thing is learning SKILLS. If you are going to do NWM you must be taught the people skills to acheive succcess. The BEST product on earth, or 2% more on the 3rd level, or an experienced upline, or the most famous owner that will attract customers. These things are of no value if you don't have the SKILLS to construct a network. Keep the topics coming, it's great.

Hello all, Now that I am back from the store, walked and played with my dogs, gave my son a drum lesson before bedtime, maybe I should answer the question, (what do you think, Ms Beverly?) :-) Speaking of Beverly Armstrong, I mentioned a clue earlier that someone hit the nail on the head. It was she. Here is a copy of her earlier post. ============================================= ME! I'm sorry Ken the Devil made me do it! Seriously to me it is the individual. This is my business, my job, and my check. I am the important ingredient in my marketing equation. Probably not what you are looking for and certainly not in anyone else's handbook, just mine. By The Way, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! http://networkblogs.blogspot.com (Now with sound) http://www.beverly-armstrong.official.ws msbeverly@adlandpro.com ============================================= Why do I come up with this answer. Let's again look at the question. ======================================== What is the most important thing in marketing? ======================================== Three keywords here - "is", not are, "thing" and "in". You are the most important thing for without you there is nothing, period. That means nothing "in" anything - marketing, teaching, nursing, whatever. Without you nothing is possible. Now I asked the question in an exact way to see what answers came back. This shows that in order to be a great leader (in marketing) we have to be great listeners(readers). "Your" success will be dictated by "your" listening skills. "You". "Your" responses will be the judge of whether "you" get a paycheck or not. "Your" answers. These are listening skills/people skills. It's people that "you" are trying to get their money from for a product or service "you" can provide legitimately. Fair trade. You are the key to anything. I want to point to Beverly's forum titled 'Survey Anyone?'. Her opening piece in the thread will surely clarify why you are the key to this question. http://community.adlandpro.com/forumShowPost.aspx?PostID=87888 I want to thank all of you for participating in this topic. To our success. Kenneth R Sword Jr p.s. more questions please.
