Jesus foresaw that there would be those (Atheist) who would not believe in Him.

Jesus said,"...there are some of you who do NOT believe." (John 6:64).

The cause of atheism may be that "Satan...blinds the minds of unbelievers,...." (2 Cor. 4:4).
If a person does not believe, they can ask Jesus to "help them overcome their unbelief!"
(Mark 9:24).
