A FATHER’S JOB  By Dean Beaty  3/23/03

The most important job all across the land.

To guide the life God’s placed within our very hand.

To teach which way is right and lead them in that way.

This is a father’s job, to do each passing day.

Lord help me be the man, a father as Thou art.

That loves without reserve from deep within my heart.

The future of their life is held within my hand.

Your wisdom I must have to teach them how to stand.

Lord help me lead the way, an example to be seen.

So, therefore help me Lord, to keep my own life clean.

The duty that is mine, this truth I must foresee.
