Thank you for the message. Yes, you are right we don't get notifications always when somebody leaves a forum. Thank you for the additional info. I was not sure how the system handles it.

Thank you for coming in. The problem is not if our friends are replying or not in forum. There a members bombarding you with notifications and PMs to reply in their forums mealwhile they don't care about your feelings. If you don't reply they see different on you. I have seen that especially now.

There is no respect. Normal should be to go in to a forum if you feel so and not if there is no traffic to force people in by invite them over and over.

This was a nice expression don't throw out the whole bunch of apples because of a few rotten ones. Real friends are very few. It is them who really care when you need. In a community you may have hundreds and thousands of "friends". THey or just contacts. Twi years here now and my experience is that 10-15 feel like close friends, 50-100 feel like friends and all the rest are just contacts. When somebody says he has 1000 friends he means contats.

Friends are they who respond you when you call them for a smile in a difficult situation.

It is also about people wanting to add you as a friend and then, when you do so, you get a notification that you have a new message. The new message is nothing more than an advert, in your face.
To be totally honest I am sick and tired of this happening in adland and this does not happen to the same extent in any other forums that I belong to.
I can tell you that over the last 3 months, 9 out of 10 people who I have added to my friends list, have blasted me with an advert and nothing more.
If this is going to be the way adland is going to continue, I will never upgrade and to be totally honest.
If 9 out of the next 10 people who send a message for me to add me as friends and I get blasted with an advert within minutes of adding them as a friend.
I am out of here.
I am totally sick of it.
