There have been a couple times where a new member signed up and then they somehow created a virus. Apparently this is what happened I guess...I am just going by what Nan told me. She was working fine yesterday she said and then she remembers opening something from someone, and after that she has had problems.

She can not post here at ALP at all, but she has no real problems elsewhere. She has run the program for Spyware etc. and it has found problems but it won't let her delete them. I told her about another program to use, and it gives a huge read out which someone is going over for her and helping her to remove files that do not belong on her computer. There is a definitely a virus in her computer though. That's all I really know.

Hi Nan,

My "Condolences" :). I can appreciate what you're going through since I too have been offline since Sunday night. My computer went KAPUT. I had to buy a new one and just got it today and then had to transfer everything from the old one to the new one. We discovered that my old hard disk was also on its last legs and it took for ages for the transfer to complete.

So, hang in there and we'll see you soon.
