Thanks for this wonderful new thread. There is already a lot of great information here.
Now that it's fall here in Pennsylvania, we have a lot of gardening to do to get ready for the harsher, colder winter months. My husband has already been very busy pruning all of the evergreens and bsues. Over the weekend I will start splitting some of the perennials.
Fall is the best time to get the yard re-established. It's time to aerate and overseed too.
I have a lot of great mums in bloom and the pansies are all planted too. The Cana need to be pruned and mulched over so they will return next year. The trees all get a deep root feeding.
It's almost as busy as the spring, but it's one of my favorite things to do!!
